I made my first smiley over 10 years ago, when I used a forum system that incorporated those lovely "circles with eyes and a mouth".  However, it was about 6 years ago, when I opened a different site, that I started getting more serious and began creating emoticons on a regular basis.  I am the lead artist on the smiley comic, Bitmap World, a wonderful project that challenged me to create more sophisticated and complicated smiley-art, and helped me get to the level I am at today.  

I love using smilies and feel my "voice" on the Internet is so dependent on them. That is why it gives me great joy to be able to create them for others to use. This is my personal collection.  It contains variations of emotes featured in other parts of this website, but also includes general images that would not fit into the categories listed on Special Smilies. I hope you enjoy them and find them of use.
